Daryl Young

Daryl is a Director and CEO of Ecotech Resources and the Sunshine Reclamation group of companies. He has run the business since 2019 and brings over 40 years business experience and a verifiable track record of delivering value in all aspects of business— from hands-on production to operating a commercial venture to building commercially attractive enterprises. Experience includes involvement in Australian industries, agribusiness and commodities from inception. Daryl brings a strategic and focused approach, with a keen sense for limiting risk and maximising returns, creating lean teams and establishing strategies for optimising internal operations. He is passionate about building sustainable regional communities.
Daryl’s commercial interests include business development, mergers & acquisitions, consulting — particularly in business focusing on the circular economy, renewable energy, climate change, rehabilitation of contaminated lands, effective agricultural development, mineral and agricultural commodities & products.
He built an enterprise with $25 million annual turnover servicing growers with competitive agricultural products and alternative marketing options. He has also developed several R&D projects to cut the use of pesticides and increase production in crop rotations.
Daryl is part of a comprehensive network of farmers, agribusinesses and innovators providing leadership for Australian agriculture, climate remediation and effective use of our resources. He has established several significant joint R&D projects with universities and state agricultural departments. Internationally, he has created a global network of agents and interacts with them in developing commodity export programs.

Dr. Leo Bolero
DirectorPhD - AI and Machine Learning in Medical Informatics
Dr Leo Bolero heads up the Ecotech R&D program, currently working closely with a research team at the University of Newcastle’s Newcastle Institute of Energy and Resources. He holds dual degrees in Molecular Genetics and Computer Science from the University of New South Wales, complemented by a PhD in AI and Machine Learning in Medical Informatics from the University of Sydney. His extensive experience spans roles such as Senior Computational Biologist at the University of Queensland and Principal Biostatistician at Biocartis, where he managed biostatistics teams and oversaw successful regulatory submissions across multiple regions.
Dr. Bolero's expertise in biotechnology commercialization and regulatory affairs, including a postgraduate qualification in International Regulations for Medical Devices from Johns Hopkins University, positions him as a pivotal leader in advancing ProSeek Bio's mission to develop next-generation diagnostics for women's health.
Michael McHugh

Michael was admitted as a Solicitor in 1979 and has been practicing law for over 40 years. He is currently Solicitor Director of Law Exchange in Tamworth, New South Wales.

Michael has had a long association with mining and agribusiness through his legal work in representing clients throughout Regional and Rural Australia and has acted for large national and state corporate clients involved in the supply of specialist agribusiness products and services.
Michael brings extensive experience and knowledge to the Board, particularly relating to the legal aspects of corporate structure, commercial contracts, land acquisition and subdivision.

Richard is a business entrepreneur with a passion for the environment and innovation. This led him to become a co-founder of Sunshine Reclamation and subsequently Ecotech Resources. He has been closely involved with Ecotech and its subsidiary companies since its inception in 2019.
Richard worked in the property industry from 2010, is a licensed real estate agent, qualified in mortgage finance and specialising in commercial and residential real estate sales and project marketing. Before that, he had over 15 years experience in media, communications and marketing.
He specialises in site and asset acquisition and evaluation, working with a range of high net worth domestic and international clientele. This has seen him work on sourcing high value commodities and soft commodities projects that present excellent value and returns for his clients. Richard is a member of the FBAA, PIPA and has a board role with ARDA Australia.
He also owns an art gallery with his wife, another one of his great passions.

Peter Kelliher
B Sc (Hons), Grad Dip Mineral Economics MAusIMM
Peter has almost 50 years of mining and metallurgical experience. He has worked on hundreds of processing plants in numerous commodities and industry. He has developed numerous flowsheets and scaled them up from the laboratory to production. This experience includes the construction, commissioning and operation of these plants.
Peter has operated long term and short term processing plants and held the position of Mine Manager on numerous projects.
Peter has also been heavily involved in due diligence and mergers and acquisitions for projects and processing plants.

Graham has almost 50 years of experience in engineering and plant maintenance management. He is a specialist across mining, quarrying, fabrication, and heavy industrial environments.
Highly skilled in plant construction, maintenance and heavy equipment, maintenance management, machining, hydraulics, and large-scale equipment repairs. Conveyor systems and quarry operations. Industrial hydraulics, kiln and mill maintenance.

Mine Processing ManagerGrad Dip Project Management (RMIT), Certificate Mine Management - Open Cut (Fiji)
Tobia has almost 20 years experience working on mine processing plants and processing technology. At Asia Pacific Resources, he was involved in the construction and operation of Wainivesi Mine in Fiji for 12 years. He held a Fiji Open Cut Mine Managers ticket and is currently studying to acquire a Quarry Manager Tier 2 ticket for NSW. Tobia was promoted from entry level to the highest position at the mine. He has constructed heavy industrial equipment, built roads, dams, bridges, buildings, crushers, ball mills and conveyors among many others. He has been closely involved in the development of processing technologies, as well as conventional CIL plant technology. He has also managed teams in quarrying, heavy equipment maintenance and the daily running of mine operations.
